Salon Policies & Guidelines

We will email you reminders to confirm your appointment.

To confirm your appointment, click the link provided in the email confirmation (no direct response will be received). If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, call (484) 860-3060 at least 48 hours in advance.

For the protection of our stylists livelihood, we require a credit card on file for your scheduled services.

We ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice if it is necessary to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

All new guests are required to pay a $50 deposit upon booking. This deposit will apply toward your service on the day of your appointment.

All cancellations MUST be made at least 48 hours before your appointment time.

Cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged 50%–100% of the scheduled service, depending on how much notice is given.

No-call/no-show appointments are charged 100% of the scheduled service. Deposits are forfeited, and no future bookings will be allowed.

Repeat offenders who cancel late or no-show may be restricted from booking with us in the future.

We know sometimes you are unlucky and get stuck behind the slowest truck; however, arriving 15+ minutes late to an appointment may result in having to reschedule. Please call us at (484) 860-3060 and let us know that you are running late so we can determine if your appointment will need to be rescheduled.

Please note, the no/show fee of 100% of the booked service(s) may be applied as your stylist will now be unable to fill this appointment.

At Rooted Salon, we believe in fair and transparent pricing. That’s why we charge per gram of color used during your service, ensuring you pay only for the exact amount needed. Instead of a flat fee, this approach provides a customized and cost-effective experience for every guest.

Much like how a mechanic charges separately for parts and labor, we separate the cost of hair color from the service itself. This ensures that you’re only paying for what’s actually used, rather than an estimate or flat rate.

To maintain precision, we use Spectra CI, an advanced system that accurately measures and tracks color usage. This not only prevents overcharging but also reduces product waste and ensures consistency in your results.

A 4% fee is added to all services to help support the behind-the-scenes essentials that keep Rooted running at its best. This contribution goes toward ongoing education for our team, salon technology, shipping, and environmental costs—ensuring we can continue to provide you with the highest level of service in a welcoming, modern space.

For services rendered, all payments are expected on the same day of your booked appointment. We accept all major credit cards as well as cash. Checks are not accepted.

For gratuity, we offer the use of a kiosk center called Tippy. This will show up on your bank statement as a separate transaction.

We want you to love your hair, or let us know. We’ll always do our best to make it right.

Should you have any concerns regarding your services, please call within seven days to let us know so that we may happily work with you to get it just right. We do not offer refunds for hair services.

Products purchased are final sale, and we cannot accept returns or refunds on an opened product.

Color processing gowns are provided for your services to for the protection of your personal belongings against any staining or water that may occur during your appointment. Our gowns are laundered after each use.

In conjunction with your gown, we provide a towel and styling cape. We do our utmost to protect you and your clothes during your visit. Rooted Salon is not responsible for any stained clothing or belongings if the gown is not utilized properly.

Rooted Salon Gift Certificates are available year round for gifts that are perfect for any occasion. They are available at our front desk in any amount requested or online.

Gift Certificates can be redeemed responsibly for services only.

Please enjoy the use of our store-front parking lot, whether it be in front on the salon or on the side of the building.

The salon is located in a three-business unit and Rooted is Suite 2.

Handicapped spaces can be found to the right of the salon.
